My replies will be on hold for just a day or two! Because I have zero self control and an armful of birds I would like to write, I'm moving my major blogs to a multi. Drake, Gos, and Morgana will be my main focuses.

The duck’s hands come up and he gently cradles his face, lightly rubbing his thumbs against his cheeks. He adores the genius so much that words can’t even really properly describe it, but he wishes he did have the words so Fenton would believe him.
He furrows his brow slightly, trying to tip his head up if Fenton will allow it, gray-violet eyes softening as he lets out a quiet sigh.
“You’re a wonderful person. I know you don’t believe me, but you are. You’re my hero, Fen. You inspire me every damn day. And I’ll keep saying it until you believe me.”

He heard the words spoken just into the fluff of feathers on his cheek, leaning back into the rooster’s chest as those strong arms wrapped around his waist, pulling him in close. He could feel himself melting into the embrace, his eyes falling closed, swaying back quietly.
They shouldn’t have gotten into this. They never should have started this. That night on the roof should’ve been a one time thing, a poor decision made in the heat of the moment.
But now he found himself feeling safe in this embrace, breathing softly as he closed his eyes, settling.
Funny. He couldn’t stop thinking of the rooster either.
“You really know how to work your way into a guy’s head, you know that?” He presses up closer, rubbing his head up against Steelbeak’s thick neck feathers. “You don’t have to leave, you know.”

Oh. Well, he hadn’t anticipated that. The actor-turned-vigilante is chilly, yes; that’s nothing new. His costume is thick and keeps him from getting cold, but outside of that, he’s cold pretty much all the time. But in the end, he’s not going to say no, and he just scoots his way over to settle himself up close to the pilot’s chest with a sigh.

Honestly I don’t know how he wears that coat all the time, but it’s an aviator’s jacket, so I guess it’s not surprising that it’s so warm.”
