Bluestar at her best and worse, for you all!

design notes;

+ her 'hair' starts going gray early after the death of Mosskit, due to stress

+ speaking of said 'hair', it stays rather short until she's middle aged / around the time Whitekit is almost out of the nursery

+ during her mental breakdown in TPB, her 'hair' comes down and drapes over her shoulders

+ what's probably most notable is that her eyes are more teal than just blue. This was to break up all the blue color.

+ most of her pawpads are dark except the one you see in her kit image

+ the eye scar and scratches on her upper hind leg both came from Thistleclaw [headcanon that the two got into a bad fight during training apprentices] and she got them at the same time.

+ the dark circles under her eyes don't appear until late apprenticeship / early warriorhood and go away in StarClan, to show her struggles with finding peace with herself/her life. The heart marking stays 'cracked' to show that just because she's at peace with her life, doesn't magically mean that her mental health is better. Just that she's at peace with herself, flaws and all.

+ the leaves mark her as a leader of ThunderClan. The stars over her head in her StarClan design mark her as a former leader.

[ID: these drawings are of Bluestar, leader of ThunderClan, throughout her life and within StarClan. Bluestar is a blue-gray molly with a silver star on her muzzle, a silver heart on her chest, silver-tipped ears, a silver-tipped tail, and teal eyes. Her tail is a slightly darker gray, as is right above her tail on her lower back. Her tufted head fur is styled like pushed back hair which gets longer the older she gets. She has a dark knows as desaturated pink ears. Her cheek fur puffs out to the side.

The first image is Bluekit. She's sitting down in a childish pose with her hind paws out, revealing that her dark paw pads have a desaturated pinkish spot on the largest pad. She has one cheek puff per cheek and she's looking upwards with her mouth in an 'o' shape. Her heart marking is small and she only has a couple tufts of fur on her head.

The second image is Bluepaw, sitting in a stiff and angry position, her head lowered as she glares at the ground with tears in her eyes. Her tufted head fur is more pronounced and pushed back. Her heart marking is slightly larger and there's dark rings developing around her irises. There are also smaller cheek tufts under the larger ones that she had as a kit.

The third image is Bluefur as a young and middle-aged warrior, before she had her kits. Her paw is raised and mouth is open, as if she's walking and talking with someone. There is darker markings under her eyes that are developing as eye bags. While she's calm here, she looks tired as well, with the dark rings around her irises being more notable. She has a fresh scar on her upper back that goes over to her unseen left shoulder. It's also notable that the heart marking on her chest is starting to 'crack'.

The fourth image is Bluefur as a queen, laying down and staring down at the ground. She looks conflicted as she rests her head on her paws. The dark rings around her irises are still there and the dark gray under her eyes seems to be growing. Her cheek tufts are at their full length. Here we see that the end of her shoulder scar on the left side ends in a curve heading back upwards, and she has hole cut in the middle of her ear. Her head fur is also now pulled back into a puffy ponytail.

The fifth image is Bluefur as deputy of ThunderClan, her back turned to the camera as she looks to the left with a saddened expression. Her tail curls over her paws. She has fresh scars on her haunches [and unseen fresh cut over her right eye]. Her pulled back 'hair' is starting to turn the same silver as her markings due to stress.

The sixth image is of Bluestar, as Firepaw meets her. She has dark green leaves on her right shoulder and we can see the scar over her right eye finally. She's standing tall, but the signs of her stress are clear, as the dark circles under her eyes are very noticeable and her heart marking is cracked in half. Her silver 'hair' is growing and comes down her face and onto the upper half of her right eye.

The seventh image is of Bluestar during her war against StarClan. Her fur is spiked in anger as she's lowered like she's going to attack whoever she's looking at. Her hair is mostly silver now, save for the left half which is still blue-gray [it's also let down and no longer pulled up]. She has bitemarks on her back left leg and a couple scratches on her front left paw. She's snarling so hard that there's notable spit coming out of her mouth and her claws are out.

The eighth image is Bluestar in StarClan, looking a bit more like she did in the sixth image, yet still different. Her pupils are white now, with the dark circles around the irises gone, and she has three stars hovering over her forehead. Her scars, nose, and inner ears are now the same teal as her eyes. Her hair is back up, the darker gray is gone from under her eyes, and she seems at peace as she stands calmly with one paw moved forward. She's smiling even with her heart marking still broken.]

✧Firestar of ThunderClan✧

[ID: these are drawings of Firestar, leader of ThunderClan, throughout his life, and within StarClan. Firestar is a bright ginger classic tabby with swirling stripes on his shoulders and hind legs, white paws, a white belly, a white-tipped tail, and a white spot on his chest. He also has green and yellow eyes, plus a wisp of fur on the top of his head that is dark ginger and white. His head fur is brushed back in a wav fashion and he has thick cheek fur. He has pink inner ears and a darker pink nose.

The first image is him as Rusty, with a dark maroon bow collar that has a little golden bell. He is wide-eyed and excited as his mouth hangs slightly open.

The second image is him as Firepaw as he runs around with an excited expression. His left [our right] ear has a huge cut taken out of it thanks to Longtail.

The third image is of him as Fireheart, looking concerned and confused. He has two small cuts in his left [our right] shoulder from his fight against ShadowClan. His chin is starting to look scruffy.

The fourth image is the first one of Firestar, in which he is a young leader. He seems relaxed and happy. There are three yellow and green leaves of unknown type on his right shoulder. Below the leaves is a new scar from his battle with the rats in SkyClan. His chin scruff is more pronounced.

The fifth image is the second of Firestar, as an older leader now. His muzzle is going gray and he has obvious age lines near his eyes. He appears calm and content. There are no new scars and we can't see his chin scruff.

The sixth image is Firestar in StarClan. He appears younger, much like he was in the fourth image, as he runs around StarClan. he still has his scars and his nicked ear. his scars are now green, as is his nose, and his inner ears are now yellow. It seems he's still wearing his leader leaves. He also now has three bright green stars floating over his forehead, which glow softly.]

design notes;

+ I labeled him as a classic tabby, but he's kind of a bastardization of one

+ the wisp of fur on his head is supposed to look like a small flicker of flame, while the fluff on the rest of him [minus his 'hair'] is meant to look like larger flames

+ the leaves mark him as ThunderClan's leader and the stars on his forehead in the StarClan design mark him as a former leader. These same diamond stars can be seen in his living eyes when he's leader as well.

+ he's sort of a chubby guy, even on a Clan diet

+ his nose is intentionally vaguely heart shaped!

so I'm working on a new icon of my Warriorsona, Featherfall, so I'm using the old one for it but the new design blog @allofthesecatsaregay is ready! I haven't decided what my pinned post is going to be yet, admittedly, but I'll get that figured out sooner rather than later.

I've been thinking about it, and I think I'm going to be starting a new design blog, as my art style is hitting a changing point again and it's left me unsatisfied with the art here

I don't have a new blog ready yet, but I'm considering leaving this old one up for archive purposes [not fully decided/committed]

I do know some of the more recent designs will be staying similar, as I am more proud of them

but overall I'm not happy with the art here

when my new blog is made, I'll link it and remove my links to this blog so that all new links will go towards the new blog

which, yes, means my counter for how many cats I've done is reset

more information will be coming out soon [either later today or tomorrow]

posted this on my non-design blog, but I'm going on a mental health break for a bit

I do have a handful of designs that are almost finished, so they'll end up being posted eventually

but I'm gonna spend most my break focusing on non-Warriors art and projects [for the most part], namely a comic idea I'm super passionate about that's been in the works for some time
