Take care of yourself. Please. There’s only one of you out there and I would hate for a good thing to disappear before it reaches its true potential <33
Take care of your body:
~ drink lots of agua!! you’d be surprised how refreshing it can be, even just eight ounces.
~ eat fruits and veg every day. you’ll be feeling a thousand times better in no time, trust me
~ work out :) this can even just be ten minutes of walking if that’s all you’re up for.
~ rest!! sleep!! try to go to bed earlier and wake up earlier too, the world is so peaceful and the birds sing such pretty songs at 7am
Take care of your mind:
~ try to spend some time away from your phone, tv, and computer. sit outside, soak in some sunshine, play with your dog/cat, talk to your roommate
~ write a song <33 it’s honestly a super easy way to express how you’re feeling. it doesn’t have to be good and you don’t have to show anyone. there are lots of websites online to just pop out a chord progression for you if you don’t own an instrument
~ read a religious post, devotional, or Scripture passage (even if you don’t believe in any kind of religion, this type of literature can clear your mind in a super strange and cool way. open your mind and try new things, love, you never know 💕💕)
Take care of your future self:
~ plan out your week and anything you need to get done. could be in a journal, a planner, a wall calendar, a whiteboard, or even just a used napkin at a coffeeshop homie idc
~ get a good night’s sleep <33
~ schedule dates with your friends to hang out, get coffee, study together, whatever works. just socialize and keep yourself away from harmful isolation :))
