it’s been a hot minute since I posted, once again… but I just wanted to come on here because I am absolutely devastated by the news of Olivia’s passing. I grew up with “Grease” (because my mom’s a fan of John Travolta since the 70’s), and I remember when I went to London with one of my elder sisters, my younger sister and my dad when I was 9 way back in 2009 to visit my grandpa (who’s also deceased since 2016, sadly). and one day we had no specific plans, and I saw on a billboard that “Grease” was gonna be playing on broadway. so I asked my dad if we could go and he said yes, we got some last minute tickets and we went to see “Grease” live. and even though we were far up and the stairs were pretty steep, I remember how in awe I was of it all. I fell in love with “Grease” as we were watching it live. and ever since that day, I’ve been such a huge fan of “Grease” and it’s always been my favorite musical and one of my favorite movies.
so I am devastated to hear about Olivia’s passing, but at the same time I’m beyond thankful for growing up with “Grease” and for her musical talents. ❤️
rest in peace, Olivia. you will always be missed. ❤️
