anonymous artists
summary: you were an artist in liyue that no one knew, yet your art was seen in a few places among the town. even though you loved painting, your ideas were falling short, so you took a trip to Mondstat to fulfill your creativity. only to be greeted by another anonymous artist unbeknownst to you.
pairing: blackyn! x albedo
genre: fluff
warnings: none
key terms: (p/n) = pen name
part two (coming soon)
a/n: consider this as “I got inspiration from the quests recently and now I want a story about two artists meeting.” Enjoy!
Tumblr media
“Coming to have your painting printed again, Y/n?”
“Ah, yes I am.” You answered sweetly to lady behind the counter.
You came down to the publishing house late in evening right before the bustling city woke up for the night.
The old lady admired your painting. “These canvases lately are becoming oddly small for an avid painter like you Ms. P/n. Something the matter?”
For an old lady like her, she sure did catch on to what was wrong. You sighed softly and shook your head, rubbing your temples.
“My inspiration is low. I feel like I have seen Liyue in all of its perspectives: up and down, left and right.”
The old lady chuckled and began to sit aside your artwork. “Inspiration. Now you can never run out of that, my dear.”
“I sure have. I feel like I’ve ran into my first artist block in a while.” You shrugged.
The old lady bent down behind her counter, grunting a little. She moved over ink jars and pens until she came across an old map.
“Do you like traveling?” She inquired, smoothing out the paper in front of you.
You took in the map in front of you. Your eyes widen at the vast amount of places you could see.
“Why yes I do. I do many times for ideas. But I think I have done as much as I could.”
“I believe there are many places you have not seen. Take our neighboring town for example.” With a red pen she circled the place which underneath was titled Mondstadt.
“Mondstadt?”
“A beautiful place might I add. While it is not as busy and enticing as Liyue is, it still has perks that Liyue wish it could even meet.”
You were enhanced by her words and the possibilities that were yet unraveled to you.
“Take this map and travel there safely. This could help in your inspiration.” She smiled sweetly to you as she folded the map and handed it over.
“I will!” You accepted and bowed to her. “Thank you so much. I’ll make sure to come back with plenty of huge canvases just for you.”
“And your fans.” She winked.
You simply laughed off her comment. While you did indeed have fans who appreciated your art, they only knew P/n, not Y/n. And you wanted to keep it that way for a little while longer. Basking in being unknown felt nice for the time being.
As soon as you began to walk away she called your name once more.
“Clax recently made a piece.”
You stepped back up to the counter immediately. “Really?! You have it already?” You asked excitedly.
“Their’s too were small, almost pocket size.” She pulled out the artwork and slide it across the counter for you to see.
The canvas portrayed a statue of the seven that you hadn’t seen before. The painting took place during the day. There was an enormous tree that stood behind it with small crystal blue like butterflies that danced along the side of the statue and the tree. Even though it was small, the art still portrayed tranquility and peace behind the statue.
“Their art never fails to amaze me.” You said, still full of awe.
She gave you the piece of work. “Keep this. You’ll probably see this again once you get there.”
You were confused on why she said that, but you gently placed the artwork into your backpack and thanked her before going to pack for your trip.
After packing you got on your horse and began to set off for a new journey to fill the void that you have been yearning to fill since forever.
You thanked the gods for no rain or storm weather throughout your journey. You took easy paths while you followed the map. Avoiding areas that could potentially have hillichurls or abyss mages. Eventually you finally made it to Mondstadt.
The grass was green and the waters were crystal blue. In the distance, you could see the tops of buildings in which you assumed was the heart of the town. Just from the outskirts of the place, you could feel your brain starting to work. As much as you wanted to take out your notebook to jot down the sights you were seeing, you knew you had to get settled in before night completely came in.
As you strolled in, you secured your horse outside the gate for safe keeping. You walked into city right at dusk. You took your hood off and looked around. While the old lady was right about some aspects, there was one thing she was wrong about. This place was busy. While it was a different kind of busy, they still had their things going on.
You could feel a pair of eyes on you. You went to look into the direction of your apprehension until it was cut short by a gentleman.
“Is this an adventure I see here?” The man was a complete flirt, you concluded.
“Far from it.” You joked and dismissed his statement with an airy laugh. “If I am being honest, I just wanted to explore a bit and then go home in a couple of days. I see that aspect will probably be in the daylight hours.” You told the man who nodded in agreement.
He placed his hand out in front of you. “Kaeya, Cavalry Captain of the Knights of Favonius. A pleasure to meet you. I hope our city is exceptional to your exploration.” He winks.
You simply shook his hand, not being too phased from the flirtatious jokes. “I’m Y/n. It’s nice to meet you. I’m sure the city will not disappoint.”
Kaeya was generous enough to allow you to stay in the rooms they usually have for guests every now and then. You were ready to pay, but he simply declined. New comers always have the first night free, he said. While you thought he was just simply being flirty, you still took him up on the offer anyway.
You went straight to unpacking your bag. You pulled out a stand and placed a canvas on top of it. You placed your brushes on the table next to it and then laid on the bed. You sighed loudly before looking at your watch. It was going on midnight. Even though you were tired, you wanted to step out and and see what creativity you could gather from the silence of the night. You took your notepad and pencil and slipped outside.
You walked to the center of the plaza where the fountain was. You took a seat right on the edge of the fountain and and looked around tentatively. You closed your eyes first to take in the sounds around you. You could hear the crackling of the fire from the restaurant. You could hear the soft jingles from bells that hung from the door because of the wind. Then of course, you could hear the water behind you. You opened your eyes slowly and leaned your head back to look into the sky. You gazed at the stars, allowing each one to create a path that directed your eyes to the moon. You were amazed by how different the stars looked form another location. The scenery just from at night was taking the wind right out of your chest. You looked down at your notebook and began to write down the sounds and right down descriptions of how the area around you made you feel.
“Peace, stillness, solitude, warmth, and... and....” Your ears were following he sound of the water again.
The constant rhythm it provided was lulling you sleep before you knew it. You tried to fight it, but your eyes were feeling the weight from today’s travel. Your body swayed due to not having back support. Before your body could give out, you felt two pair of hands grip your shoulders gently.
“Hey, excuse me? Are you okay?” A man asked. His voice was gentle, light, and soft. If it weren’t for the situation you were in, you would’ve asked him to read you a bedtime story.
“Oh! I’m sorry. Yes, I’m fine!” You tried to wake yourself up, rubbing your eyes quickly before having a chance to stare at the man in front of you.
He had what almost seemed like messy hair and he wore a white that hugged his arms just a bit. He had on black jeans and somewhat dirty, black boots. You looked in his eyes and the moon was giving just enough light for it to reflect into them. His turquoise like eyes stayed glued on you, making you flustered a bit. On your right shoulder you felt an object poking at you. Finding as the perfect opportunity to break eye contact, you looked at your shoulder to see what the object was.
He removed his hands immediately. “My apologies. I didn’t mean to grab you so suddenly, but I noticed your body swaying and I wanted to prevent you from falling backwards.” He informed you.
You noticed how he folded his notebook close and brought it to his side.
“Besides, you ruining your notebook would probably be devastating.” He added, shrugging slightly.
“You’re right. That’s what I get for trying to be ambitious at midnight.” You joked and he laughed.
His laugh sounded just as gentle as his voice. Thanks to the moon once again, you were able to see his smile for a moment.
“Albedo, Chief Alchemist and Captain of the Investigation Team of the Knights of Favonious.” He introduced himself. He offered a hand to you.
You took it to shake, but he gently pulled you up. “I-I’m-” You caught yourself before slipping out your pen name. you were still in your artist mindset, and that could’ve ended badly. So you thought. “I’m Y/n. I’m just simply traveling for change of scenery.”
“From where, might I ask?”
You bit your lip in thought. It wouldn’t hurt to say from where. You just wanted to be cautious with that kind of information.
“Liyue.”
Albedo hummed softly and nodded. “That explains the alluring accent.” He spoke to himself.
The comment alone, even though he had no flirtatious intent behind it, had you flustered once again.
You switched the topic quickly. “Captain of the investigation team, yeah? I’m sure that’s why you’re out here and spotted me right? I’m already noticeable as it is.” You rubbed the back of your neck.
“That is not why I was out. I was out for... for a stroll. Yes, a stroll.” He concluded with a nod. “Besides, you are noticeable in a good way. You have already peaked my interest more than once and it is only our first encounter.” He spoke bluntly, but his voice was far from bluntness. “Why are you out so late?”
You could see his eyes trail down to your notebook which you had already closed. “I like to... write down things I see when I visit new places.” You thought of something quick. “For my... grandmother. She is an avid reader so I paint a picture with words on paper for her to read. She loves it so much.” You gave him a smile.
Little did you know, he was shortly taken aback by the tired smile you displayed to him.
“Fascinating... and to think that joy of reading and the creation of writing was beginning to die down.” He said.
You yawned before you could stop yourself.
“My apologies. I have held you long enough. May I escort you back to your room?” He asked so formally that it left you baffled.
“N-No need. I can head back myself.” You gave him a sleepy yet meaningful smile.
Your smile once again caught him off guard. He covered his unknown flustered state with a small cough.
“All right then. Take care. I’ll go back to helping myself find creativity.” He said.
The statement had you tilt your head a little, but you shook it off. The phrases felt fit for artists, but maybe your sleepy mind was just playing tricks on you.
“A-All to mean, heading back to my stroll.”  He cleared it up a little, chuckling a little at his own awkwardness.
Before you both had a considerable amount of distance between you, he stopped and turned around.
“Y/n? How about later in the morning we meet here.”
You turned back and saw him gesturing towards his alchemy table.
“I have a place in mind for your writing if you desire to see?” He asked, hoping maybe you cared to see him again.
“Of course. That just gives me plans to look forward to.” You agreed.
A glint of excitement danced in the alchemist eyes.
“Until then.”
You both parted ways silently, but deep down there was a roaring party within both hearts.

What is... L0v3?
pairing: kii-bo x reader
genre: fluff
warnings: none!
summary: kii-bo always wants to learn new information. But this next question is quite challenging... what is love?
Tumblr media
The question was something that never left Kii-bo’s mind.
He felt embarrassed that he didn’t know it as easily as the rest of his classmates.
Is it something you can touch?
Something you can see?
He wanted to know it all, but how does one go about it?
He knows most the time love involves a heart.
He was never sure if he technically had one.
That’s what always made him stop thinking about it.
How could one love with the main property, a heart?
“Are you okay Kii-bo? You’re looking a little too serious.” You joked with him.
His eyes widen and he turned to you, calculating some form of response to avoid speaking his true thoughts.
But the more he stared at you, the more his... mind began to race? At least that’s what it seemed like.
His cheeks slowly turned red at the sudden change of emotion and his eyes began to dart anywhere but hers.
The feeling was intoxicating yet also worrisome.
“Why can’t I answer her? What’s wrong with me?” He questioned himself mentally.
His inner voice was speaking to him. He always listens to his inner voice.
“I want more... of this.”
-
“More of what?” Your question broke him out of his trance.
He shook his head quickly and waved his arms in unison.
“NOTHING! No no no, that’s- no! I- uh-” He scrambled for words. “I said nothing!” He laughed nervously as he rubbed the back of his neck.
You stared at him for a moment. “Are you it’s not anything? You laughed.
Kii-bo rubbed his temple for a moment, trying to see if it would be best to ask you to help him in this type of situation. Fortunately, to his dismay, his mind spoke for him.
“C-Could you teach m-me love?”
The question left you speechless.
You had always liked Kii-bo. More than anyone else realized. He was fascinating in your eyes. The crush was more than you could imagine too. Maybe you could take this opportunity to confess.
“I-If it is not too much to ask. it’s okay if you say no. I-I do not know what is wrong-”
“I’ll teach you!” You told him quickly, a little too quickly.
His eyes lit up at your answer.
“You know, you can’t learn this all in one day.” “I expected that much, but the more I think about it, I rather it be you that teach me.” He stood and smiled a bit, finally regaining his emotions to speak a bit more clearly now.
Kii-bo had his moments where he can be oddly confident, and this was one of those moments. You looked at your feet and smiled a little, allowing your fingers to play behind your back.
“Are you sure you don’t want to ask anybody else? Not even Miu?”
He shook his head quick and waved his hands. “N-No! No, I wish not to asked her! To ask her...” He shivered at the previous time he had spent with her. “... I rather not go through something like that again.”
You couldn’t help but laugh a bit. He watched you and smiled at the sight of it. He could make you laugh. Mentally, he took a note of that.
“How should I start?” You questioned out loud as you began to walk.
“Maybe there is a book? Or how about eNotes? I heard that maybe even quizlet is a good sourc-”
“No, Kii-bo.” You placed a hand on his shoulder. “Love isn’t in the books or something you can search. As cliche as it sounds it’s right here.” You removed your hand from his shoulder and placed it right above of his heart.
He looked down at your hand and froze. There it goes again. A stupid heart.
“Y/n, I do not think I have a... heart. As much as I want to believe-”
“Sure you do. You feel just like the rest of us.” “I am programed to feel the basic emotions of a young adult.”
“Is love not one of the emotions?”
“I... was not programed with such. My creator thought it would be too much for my system to handle.” He informed you.
“Alright.” You stepped ahead of him while he stopped where he was. “Are you programmed on who you’re friends with? Or maybe who you dislike? You may think that you like someone, but I believe if you truly do, you feel it in your heart. Your mind can’t make all the decisions.”
He walked up to you and then he felt your hand go back to where it was.
“I’m 100% sure you have a heart.” You reassured him.
Kii-bo’s eyes wandered to where your hand was. He felt that your words held truth in them. His mind can’t make all of his decisions.
His hand laid on top of yours absentmindedly. “You are right... I have never thought about it that way.”
With your heart beating quicker than you liked, you slowly laced your fingers with his. The movement startled him, but he complied. This felt natural and right. He wanted to feel and do more with this feeling.
The both of you wandered through the halls, speaking of various topics besides just love. It got to the point where he forgot that he even asked you to teach him.
“I have over 1400 jokes inside of mind.” He informed you, waiting for you to catch your breath from laughing.
“Oh please, I don't think I can make it through another one!” You said as you both sat down on the ends of the stair case.
You both fell silent and enjoyed each other’s company. He looked over at you and examined you once more. His heart sped up, and a smile walked on to his lips. He never knew he was capable of feeling so much from just one person.
You felt Kii-bo give your hand a squeeze. You looked down at your hands then to him. His eyes widen and began to pull away.
“S-Sorry! Did I hurt you?!”
You shook your head quickly and reached back out and grabbed his hand again. “No! Kii-bo, you didn't hurt me.” You said and you saw the wave of relief come across his face.
“I apologize for not going in depth with what you wanted to learn. I guess once we started walking and talking, I got lost in the moment.” You apologized.
He moved closer to you before speaking. “I think I still learned a lot.”
“You did?”
“Naturally.” He said in a matter of fact tone. “I learned about you, you learned about me. We laughed and wandered the building.” He sighed softly. “We did do a lot for one day, but maybe if I’m with you every day... I could learn this more efficiently.”
You watched as he took your other hand into his. “Would this be something that you will be comfortable with?”
In your mind your mouth was hanging open and screaming. As of now, you were at a loss of words.
“A-Are you trying to ask me out?”
He tilted his head at your question. “Am I asking you out? Is that what this is called?” He asked.
“That’s what I would call it...” You whispered softly.
Kii-bo lips curved into a smile at your response.
“Ah, then yes. I am asking you out.” He answered, his cheeks once more filling back up to a beet red.
You leaned over and gave him a kiss on the cheek. “It’s a yes. I will go out with you.”
The feeling inside Kii-bo was confirmed. This was something he developed on his own.
You both held eye contact for what felt like ages until he closed the short gap between you. His lips were warmer than you anticipated. Noticing the redness of his cheeks you figured that was probably the source.
You broke away first. His hands immediately covers his face.
“M-My apologies! I-It felt naturally t-to do such a thing an-”
You removed his hands from face and shook your head with a slight laugh. “It was the perfect thing to do Kii-bo.” You gave his cheeks a gentle pat.
“Want to meet here tomorrow?” You asked as you stood up
He stood up with you and nodded, gaining his composure once again. “Yes, that sounds like a nice idea.”
You both parted ways for evening, leaving Kii-bo with plentiful of thoughts. He felt that this was something he should build on with you. He wanted to hold on to this feeling for long as he could stay by your side.

Fortunate Mishap Ch. 2
Tumblr media
disclamer: gif not mine
summary: y/n is discovers that there is more to it than just her escaping once she realizes that Karl has a similar way of thinking.
for ch. 1, go here!
warnings: cursing, and mentions of gore
genre: angst
a/n: lots of reading but trust it’ll be worth it!
A cold sweat was running down your temple as you were walking through the blood. When your eyes adjusted to the scene ahead of you, you collapsed on your knees.
“Brother... no... no no what happened?” You whispered, cupping his face and wiping the blood from his lips.
“Get away... r-run, please.” He choked out quietly.
You felt the trickles of blood run down your hand as you felt your eyes water.
“No, please... can’t leave you!” You cried.
“S-Stop it. J-Just listen... listen... to..-”
His sentence was cut short when the world around you went black. There was a force that tugged at the back of you and sent you flying, leaving your dying brother behind.
“Let me go!” You screamed, wailing your arms frantically.
The sudden force stopped and before your eyes were unusual furry creatures tearing humans apart in your village. You could vaguely make out the faces of the people being eaten. You wanted to tear from the invisible force’s grip, but it was no use.
The world went black again and the vicious force pulled you once more..
“Stop! Please! Get me out of here!” You cried out again.
You then heard laughter from a distance in the darkness. It grew louder, louder, and louder. It felt as if you couldn’t stop it.
“He won’t come back. NONE of them will.” The female voice boomed from behind.
You then popped up, grasping for air. Your chest was heaving up and down and you felt your hands being painted with your tears.
“This... That was a nightmare again.” You whispered angrily, your breathing still being uneasy.
You let your feet hang off the bed as you tried to calm down. These were reoccurring nightmares with different meanings behind them. The female voice kept sounding familiar, but you could never place your finger on whose voice it could be. It’s been happening for the past week of living inside this factory. It made you fear to go to sleep so when you did, it was really by accident.
You were angry. You were pissed to be in a situation like this. You wanted your brother back, your family too. Why were they stripped away from you like this? What did you do?! The unknown adrenaline caused a horrid thought to come across your mind.
Killing Heisenberg.
Yes, murder. It didn’t sound bad. You wanted to escape and you had to do it one way or another. You decided to think up a plan to help you not only with that, but with helping you escape the damn place. You realized that escaping was more important than killing him for now. Just thinking alone, you could feel something changing within you.
Your plan became extremely elaborate. You knew that you had to seek for parts and tools in order to assemble at least a reactor in order to control your future creation. So, you looked at the map again that Karl gave to you. There was a ‘tools’ area that he marked, assuming that maybe you would go there for some parts. He wasn’t wrong.
You left your room and began to make your way down to the area. You took the elevator and tensed up when it began to move. Your adrenaline from earlier came down and then you were faced with a harsher reality. What if you ran into him? What would he say? What if he surprised you and took your life? These thoughts cornered you in your mind, causing an unexpected migraine to appear within seconds. When the doors opened, you sped walk off, trying to ignore the ache. When you walked in, you stared at the parts, already picking apart which were of use and which weren’t. It felt so unreal to understand which was which.
You walked to a certain pile of scraps and when you reached out to move them, and shooting pain entered behind your eyes. The throbbing pain coursed through you and before you knew it, three pieces of scrap metal flew to the wall, creating an overwhelming amount of noise for your ears to register.
You stared at your hand in disbelief.
“What the hell am I becoming?” You questioned yourself quietly.
You didn’t know what to think, so you tossed the unbelievable event to the back of your mind for a moment. You started picking up parts and stuffing them into a makeshift bag that you found on the ground to take back to your room. When you finished you immediately went back as quick as possible.
You tossed the parts to the ground and began to sort them out. When you were done you went to your desk and began sketching a prototype of the reactor. This obviously wasn't going to be an overnight thing. You may have had the parts yes, but the creation itself was slowly becoming a pain in the ass. It was in your mind but it wouldn't show on paper in order to piece them together correctly. Every now and then you would test your mind to see if you could move a piece of metal to your table. The amount of mind power it exerted made you mentally exhausted.
“Please don’t make me into that metal asshole.” You grunted, the metal scrap just falling to the ground in another failed attempt.
You looked around your room until you came across a wooden chair. You zoned in on it and noticed it trembling against the ground. It then lifted up for a moment and you felt your face practically light up. Seeing that the chair was strictly wooden, it seemed as if you could lift up other things besides metal. You were elated. This provided you with more motivation to keep pushing in your prototype.
-
This went on for days into the second week. Karl knew since the time he provided you with map he would hardly see you again. His mind did often wonder what the hell you were doing, but then he remembers he has a rebellion to attend to. Worrying about you had been pushed to back of his mind. He knew that if you hadn’t gotten anything now, what would change within some weeks? You were just going to be another test subject for him.
You needed him to think that nothing had happened to you. You wanted to keep him in the dark while you created things he was unaware of. Time plus him was against you, and the last thing you wanted was either one of those to stop you.
Your telekinesis was getting stronger as time went on. You couldn't control it, but there were moments of stability. You were surprised by the stability considering you hardly slept. You wanted to make up for lost time when you unexpectedly got sick, or to just simply avoid those lucid nightmares.
One day your curiosity got the best of you. You knew your ideas were dying out and you needed a change of scenery. You did yourself a solid and took a tour the factory. You were careful to avoid random steam bursts from pipes and just the x’s in general on the map.
You found yourself outside, taking in the light snowflakes that fell on you. The bitter cold nipped at your nose continuously along with the faint scent of oil. You looked up at the sky and took a deep breath before exhaling. You found your peace and a new set of ideas.
Right when you felt like going back, you noticed two large metal doors cracked open. You neared them, just to take a quick peek inside until you heard Karl’s voice booming from within. You neared the voice, walking down a small set of stairs quietly, until you were able to peek inside.
“I’ll kill her.” He grumbled before a knife jolted from a cross the room and scarred up a wall.
The wall was had plastered black and white photos of the ‘siblings’ that you came across when you first woke up. You watched as the knife tore the wall to shreds. The rage emitting from his room was almost terrifying. His forehead was glistening with sweat and his hand was bleeding.
“You take my fuckin’ life and expect to keep livin’?! Fuck that...”
A roar of an engine then emitted from underneath the ground. Karl walked over to it and knelt down, opening the gate to the ground wildly.
“Shut the fuck up!” He yelled before slamming it back down with his bleeding hand.
He hissed from his carelessness and stood up, his right hand now trembling.
“I... I need to clean this.” He started to throw some mini bag together and began to head to the door.
You slipped out of view and looked for a quick hiding spot. You hid behind a metal pillar and watched him aggressively walk out and make a right. You came out and immediately walked down into his room to examine it more. You read the names underneath the photos which gave you a better understanding of who was who. From first view, you could tell he had a special hatred for Mother Miranda. You inferred that she maybe was the one that ‘took his life away’.  Her face was almost impossible to make out due to his rage.
“Is she responsible for me too?” You questioned out loud.
You stared at her shredded portrait for a few seconds longer before feeling an abnormal fear go through you. The face was attempting to jog a memory back that you couldn't remember. You then recalled the voice within your nightmares. You matched it with her face and then suddenly your memories were bombarded with when you woke up that day with everyone staring at you. You felt as if that she was the source of everything that has happened to you. Your emotions were flowing through you again, but directed more so at the right person this time. The questions you had were now being answered once the dots finally connected.
You scanned around his desk once more before coming across some notes.  You looked at some papers and read the heading on the top.
“Rebellion?” You mumbled.
You read and looked over all of his creations he was making. Everything was detailed, more detailed than you could ever be. As you read, you saw that there was one he couldn't control. Sturm. It was uncontrollable according to his notes and even with his abilities he couldn’t control it nor fix it.
Bingo.
This could be a way out for you. Or maybe now... a compromise, or even blackmail.
You suddenly heard heavy footsteps from a distance and indistinctive grumbling. You tore the single page that contained all the information about Sturm and placed the papers back where they came from. You peeked out to the staircase before darting out of there, taking a quick detour back inside the factory.
If you could fix Sturm, it could open more opportunities in different creations. But to be inside that rebellion with him... to kill the source of it all, to be of value with your new ability, to simply not die in vain... those were what enticed you to consider the odds.

If Nanami & Gojo had a Nightmare
type: oneshot
summary: in the title
warnings: light cursing
genre: angst and fluff
a/n: for the sake of this (and my future writings), let’s pretend that Gojo isn't a canon womanizer lmao
Nanami:
Tumblr media
Nanami was already having a rough day as it was
His paper work wasn’t going through, he had over five calls of grade one curses, and four hours worth of overtime
God how he wanted the day to be over
When he walked in, you allowed him to get situated and relaxed. You had prepared some food earlier that day so he ate that before settling in bed
He saw you body sleeping already, slightly regretting that he couldn’t get back sooner to relax with you before sleeping
He laid down and as soon as his head hit the pillow he was out
Not long into his sleep, he started to toss and turn every few minutes
His eyebrows kept scrunching together and his shoulders were slowly tensing up.
Before long he popped up out his sleep and stared at the ceiling for a moment, almost in disbelief of his nightmare
He looked to you to see if he woke you, but it was too late
You rubbed your eyes gently as you looked over at your husband.
“Love?” You whispered in a rather horse voice. “What’s wrong?”
He frowned, more so at himself, before grabbing your hand and placing soft kisses on the back of it.
“Nothing... I think it’s nothing?” He questioned.
Your eyes adjusted to the darkness and noticed a concerned look in his eyes, maybe even a hint of fear.
“Did you have a dream?” You asked him, now lacing your fingers with his.
He debated whether to answer you, but the silence was a given.
“Was it bad?”
He took a deep breath before looking away from you. He didn't want to say. The nightmare was too harsh to share with you. He didn't want to have you up with the same thoughts he had running through his mind.
He then felt you tug on his arm.
“Come here.” You whispered tenderly.
Silently, he rolled closer to you. He placed his head right in crook of your neck, taking in your smell that always calmed him after anything tedious. His hand wrapped around your waist and gently pulled you towards him. You fingers danced through his hair and your legs tangled in with his. The sigh he let confirmed this was what he needed. You felt a light tremor in his shoulders so you allowed your free hand to run over his shoulder slowly. You placed soft kisses to his temple and waited for him to sleep. Once he did, you followed suit,  knowing that you were able to ease your love back to sleep.
Gojo:
Tumblr media
This guy was having a pretty average day
Not anything he couldn’t handle
Except his dreams
Nightmares specifically
When he got home from work he went over to you immediately and hugged you
“Welcome home.” You chuckled at his random acts of kindness
“You didn’t start watching the new show without me did you?” He asked you.
You moved your lips to the side and shrugged. “Maybe...?”
He faked a gasp. “You never did that before!”
Since you lied, you pulled his head down and shut him up with a kiss. “Be quiet dummy. Of course, I haven't. Lets go watch it now.”
Not even 6 episodes in, you both were tired. You guys decided to go to the bedroom and call it quits for the night.
You both fell into a deep sleep, but there was one thing that could always wake you up from it
Emptiness
You slowly began to stir when you noticed the other side of the bed was cold. To confirm it, you stretched your leg out and met the coldness immediately.
“Damn it, Satoru.” You mumbled sleepily.
You got up and once your mind was cleared, you could hear voices from your tv in the living room. At first, you thought nothing of it. Then it processed he could’ve been watching the show without you!
“Hell no.” You got up and quickly walked in the living room
“Satoru, are you watching this show without m-”
You caught yourself as you looked at him. His knees were curled into his chest and his head was against them. His hair was disheveled and his cheeks were lightly stained. He slowly picked his head up and his mouth parted slightly.
“Oh... no. No I wasn’t watching anything.”
“Baby, were you crying?”
He smiled and shook his head, but the smile was forced. “Me? Cry? Are you crazy?” He joked, his hands slipping to his cheeks to wipe what was left over. “You know me better than that right?”
You sat down next to him and put the tv on mute.
“I know you enough to know when something is bothering you.” You answered quietly yet firmly.
He took your tone seriously before looking down.
You reached out for his hands but instead he pulled you into hug. He tried to stifle a sob, but it didn't go unnoticed.
“I almost lost you... I’m suppose to be perfect, but it was an everlasting nightmare about me losing you.” He whispered.
You rubbed his back gently and stayed silent for a moment before speaking.
“You’ll never lose me.” You said softly. “Never in a million years, will you ever lose me.”
He looked up at you and his cheeks were flushed red. He couldn’t help but break into a weak smile.
“It’s a g-good thing those are nightmares.” He chuckled.
You took your hands and cupped his cheeks, running your thumbs over his tears to clear them.
“Meaning that they’ll never come true.”
He grabbed your hand and kissed the inside of them, then he kissed your wrist. He ended it off with a kiss to your lips.
“Want to continue where we left off in the show?” You offered, hoping it would clear his mind.
“I mean... I’m already on episode ten.”
“You asshole!” “I was kidding!” He tackled you into the couch before grabbing the remote and turning the show back on.

Fortunate Mishap Ch. 1
Tumblr media
summary: the injection of your Cadou took longer than expected, forcing you to reside with heisenberg until a change were to occur. once you obtained your power, it seem to fit well with the motives and the type that karl looks for in more than just an assistant.
warnings: mentions of gore, cursing, (pretty much a a lot of disrespect towards the reader this chapter), light generosity, smut in later chapters
genre: angst, mild fluff, eventual smut
“This... this thing is not worth my time!” Lady Dimitrescu spoke loudly towards Mother Miranda. “When I did ask for the previous human you denied me of my chance. Now you’re denying me again to give to this miniature fucking size of a failure?!”
“You’re pathetic for even fighting you lousy, freak-”
“Silence!” Mother Miranda spoke over the both of them.
Her eyes landed on your figure as you started to wake. Your arm felt sore and heavy. It was the aftereffects of that damn shot. Then a wave nausea hit you again, throwing up were you laid.
“She’s gonna throw the fucking shit up before we can tell what the hell she can be.” Scoffed Karl while he twirled his cigar in his hand.
“Could she join me in a tea party? I feel maybe the tea I make would oh so ease her stomach if she were to join me.” The possessed doll spoke as she waltz her way into view.
“G-Get... the fuck away.” You ended the sentence with another regurgitation.
“Oh gladly! You smell bad anyway.” The doll frowned and stuck it’s tongue out at you before scurrying back to its owners lap.
“One month is what you need to see if you can be worth while. After that you’ll die. End of discussion! Karl, please escort her to your factory. Any signs of progress needs to be reported to me immediately.” Her wings spread then she went up in the sky. “You all are dismissed!”
Your weak form could barely make out the people as they were walking by you. You felt the ground shake a bit and noticed a piece of metal floating near your  face. Before your knew it, warm liquid seeped from your cheek. You hissed, grabbing your cheek slightly and serving him a half heartfelt glare.
“Sorry darlin’,” Karl sneered, “time to get a move on.” He plopped his cigar back into his mouth.
You felt your legs stinging as pieces of metal began to attach to your legs and up. Being too tired to process it all, you slowly started to slip out of conscience.
When you woke up, the smell of metal and smoke filled your nose. You looked around and sat up slowly, gripping your forehead. You heard a slight knock at the entrance of the room, causing you to snap your head over to attention. You instantly regretted it, groaning out softly.
“Rise n’ shine. You been out for a day and some change.” He grunted as he pushed himself off the wall and then walked towards you. “And it’s about,” he flipped his watch, “twelve midnight.”
He reached his hand out and a chair from across the room zipped right into his hand. He flipped it around and sat down, leaning forward on the back half of it.
“Mother Miranda says you got one-”
“One month until I die. I know, I can hear.” You said softly yet you had somewhat of a glare towards him.
He tilted his head and then shook it slightly. “I see you got a mouth on ya.” He chuckled, lowering his glasses.
He returned your stare with a cold, stern, fierce, glare. “Listen girly, I don’t have time for your shitty mouth, your shitty tone, or your shitty self as a whole.”
The room around you vibrated and a low hum emitted from the ground. You then saw pieces of metal rising around and began circling you. Within a second the were sky rocking towards you, but then they came to a frightening stop.
You flinched and prepared for the worst, but his voice broke the tension between you and impending death.
“That bitch Miranda says you have one month ‘till you show some improvement. For me, you got one month to prove ya can be in some use for my factory.”
“L-Like hell I would want to work for you.” You tried to thrash out.
The metal drew closer to you.
“I don’t think you got a choice, Y/n.” He said and then his lips broke out into a grin upon seeing uncertainty growing in your eyes. “It’s either me or the blood drinking bean stalk and her fly infested daughters. As stated, you wouldn’t have choice between the two of us anyway.”
You stayed silent as you looked away from him. There had to been a way to escape here, but you were in no state to be conjuring up plans.
“If you don’t think of something worthwhile, something that can be useful in a time of war, you die. I lie to Mother bitch, say you died in some freak accident in here, she gets pissed off--not like that’s new or anything-- then we move on with our fucking lives. Whether you want to live or die is your only choice.” He stated before rising his hand up and throwing it back, causing the metal to return to their original places with a loud crash.
He then got up and the chair he sat in went back to its original spot. He left the room and slammed the door shut with his mind.
The adrenaline within you remained even when he was gone. The only interest he has with you is that you get him to help with creating something. Something for war. Who the hell was he going to fight against? Why would he need you? A now renowned Cadou experiment gone wrong waiting for death, what did he need with that?
The first thing you knew you needed was plan out this place. You got out of bed weakly and walked to the door. When you opened it there was two glasses a water and a sheet of paper heavy with writing. In short, he explained areas that you shouldn’t go. The back was a detailed map and areas with x’s on them. That was majority of the factory. When you looked up, you took in how vast the the place was. The smell intensified of metal and oil snuck in as well.
“This place is fucking horrendous...” You sighed, taking the water in and closing the door.
You would’ve been suspicious of the water, but you were too dehydrated to think. You sat back in your bed as you tried to let the water take its place within you. You knew you had to wait to see what kind of ‘power’ you would receive, but you couldn’t wait for ever. That oily freak wasn't going to take your life. You were going to escape. You didn't give a damn. You were going to think and create something that would aid in your survival.
Only for yourself.
