there is a sad irony that if both Monarch and Hiroshi had let Lee back in, had listened to him, things might have been for the better for everyone

if Monarch had listened to Lee, maybe they’d have found Keiko decades ago, and maybe they’d have been ready for G-Day and prevented so many deaths and all the mess that followed

if Hiroshi had let Lee back into his life, maybe he could have helped Hiroshi avoid the mistakes with his double life and lies to the grandkids, maybe Hiroshi would have had the stability and support to make better choices

in keeping Lee locked away, they ended up hurting themselves and the world

The way this show made you think there’s gonna be some typical love triangle with Keiko, Bill, and Lee, and then just proceeds to deny and defy every single expected love triangle trope so emphatically is really kinda hilarious

They didn’t have to do that, but they did (whether intentionally or unintentionally)

I got a feeling that Lt. Lee Shaw is Hiroshi's biological father and not William Randa... The good genes remark and his similarity to Cate in the most recent episode (3). The 'youthful looks' implication could relate to titan proximity de-aging him at some point, but I still think it could have a double meaning. Not to mention Lee's chemistry with Keiko. So thick you could cut through it with a knife. 😅
