I saw some pictures with you on my home feed and you’re super ambiguous

this is a loaded question to say the least

i’m heavily mixed but like main ones are native (maliseet), sicilian, portuguese, iraqi and then nordic and french are around the same amount i think

but i’m heavily mixed so even then those are really small percentages like highest out of those is maliseet which is only ~25-30%

from my mom’s side i’m native, sicilian, portuguese, iraqi, liberian, french and then ambiguously north african and then west and east asian but the tests didn’t specifically say which like countries or anything

and then we actually don’t know much about my dad’s side bc his dad was adopted and then went missing after he had my dad and then my dad died before he got like a dna test done so the only things we know for sure are nordic, italian and greek but there are suspicions of irish and maybe french

I’m not American so correct me if I’m wrong, but don’t American High Schools have a lot of electives. If they do, which do you take?

it really depends on the school tbh

and i’m technically not in hs yet, but i’m in rolled so i had to fill out an elective sheet so these aren’t a guarantee but they’re the ones i signed up for

dance 1: first pick, i’ve mentioned i’m a dancer before so ofc i was gonna pick dance, but it is the most competitive one to get into so pray for me

AVID: i can’t remember what it stands for but it’s a 4 year long program that helps people that are at a disadvantage like low income or discrimination issues get into collage, i will probably get in because you have to interview for it and a lot of privileged kids signed up w/o realizing that they do background checks

intro to agriculture: we have 4 branches, tech, farm, food and gardening i chose food science w/ my friend j because he wanted to have an elective with me and we both are cooks so food science it is, if i don’t like it i’m doing gardening sophomore year

spanish 1: language courses are required, i used to be fluent in spanish and still understand bits and pieces so it was just the easier option, also my only other option was french and i don’t want them criticizing the way i say one of my last named bc it’s french

drama: i already do acting outside of school, the theater program at the school is really good and we’re required to do 2 semesters of preforming arts

general chorus: it was really just between this or band, but bc i’m already a singer i chose chorus. plus i might be doing cheer and you can’t do both cuz they’re both needed during games
